Part-time babysitter

Description:
We are looking for a part-time babysitter/nanny/’mother’s helper’, who can help us out a couple of regular evenings a week, e.g., Tues/Thurs (maybe more during certain periods, e.g, when travelling with work).
This would be a responsible individual, with prior experience, who would be happy to (i) pick up our 18 month old son from daycare and walk him home in the stroller (25-30mins walk); (ii) look after him and give him his dinner (this would be mostly ready prepared, but involve some cooking of accompanying veg and/or prep of fruit for dessert); (iii) give him his bath and get him ready for bed; (iv) clean up after dinner and do related washing-up of dishes, bottles,etc.
Myself or my husband would typically be around at the same time, but tending to other tasks. Occasionally, and once our son is comfortable with the new person, there may be some evenings when we are both out til close to his bedtime. However, one of us would always be there to actually put him to bed after his bath.
The hours would be approx. 5.45pm (pick up from daycare) – 8.15pm (e.g., 2.5 hours per day). The exact nature of duties might vary day to day, but this is to give a clear and realistic picture of a typical evening!
We would be paying $10-12 per hour, depending on experience and would prefer someone with childcare/babysitting experience and references.
If it works out well, we would also be interested in this person doing occasional evening babysitting, when we go out for dinner (e.g., 8pm-11pm), etc.
Qualifications:
A capable, cheery, responsible individual with prior childcare experience with young children (infants/toddlers) and good references. Someone who is located in DC and/or happy to pick up from daycare in Foggy Bottom and walk to Dupont Circle area.
